(LOUISVILLE)— Avista Adventist Hospital is hosting a free seminar on hip and knee pain Tuesday, June 25, from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Michael Wertz, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, will be the featured speaker and will discuss the latest in surgical and non-surgical treatments for hip pain.
Dr. Wertz holds a medical degree from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at University of Vermont College of Medicine, Burlington, Vt. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and has special interest in total joint replacements, sports medicine and hand surgery.
