Centura Health's mission compels us to both care for the ill and to improve the health of the people in our communities. As Colorado's largest health care provider, Centura Health believes that health care is not merely a business, it’s a calling. We strive to extend the love and respect, as well as the excellent care that each of our patients deserves. Our operations and services are far reaching from Boulder County, the mountain communities and metro Denver, to Colorado Springs, Pueblo and Cañon City, Durango - and surrounding rural communities. Our system encompasses 13 hospitals, seven senior living communities, and Centura Health at Home, which includes home care, hospice, home medical equipment and oxygen services.
Over the past five years, we have invested in our communities and built new hospitals in Summit County, Colorado Springs and Parker, and the newest addition to the Centura family, St. Anthony West, currently under construction in Lakewood and scheduled to open in the fall of 2011. In the past three years alone Centura Health has invested more than $700 million in our communities and facilities, including significant renovations and capital additions and state-of-the-art technology such as an electronic medical record system, the da Vinci Surgical System and CyberKnife.

Ask-A-Nurse®
Flight For Life® Colorado
Our Ask-A-Nurse® program is a free community service that provides Colorado with a direct link to health care resources. By calling 303.777.NURSE in Metro Denver or 800.327.6877 outside Metro Denver, Coloradans are connected to caring, expert nurses with an average of 22-years of experience providing hands-on care and answering questions over the phone. People can call for information about staying well, assessing symptoms or with questions about a particular illness or disease. Referral specialists utilize an online database to provide patients with a customized referral based on items such as location, insurance plan and language.
Founded by St. Anthony Hospitals in 1972, Flight For Life® has served as the model for more than 300 flight programs worldwide. Flight For Life is the nation’s first, and still one of the finest, air medical transport programs. Flight For Life is a community service operating out of Denver, Frisco, Pueblo and Colorado Springs, and provides critical care transport for a nine-state region with four helicopters, two fixed-wing airplanes and three ground ambulances. Flight For Life transports patients to the most appropriate medical facility, regardless of affiliation and can be requested by any physician, pre-hospital agency, fire department, law enforcement agency, ski patrol or search and rescue group.
