Gary S. Campbell, FACHE

President and CEO

Gary Campbell is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of senior leadership experience in the health care field. Since July, 2008 he has served as President and CEO of Centura Health, Colorado’s largest health system operating 12 hospitals, seven senior living communities, the state’s largest home health agency, and Flight for Life®, the nation’s first hospital-based medical helicopter program. Prior to his present role, Mr. Campbell served as Senior Vice President, Group Executive Officer of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), one of the sponsors of Centura Health. In that role, Mr. Campbell was responsible for 27 hospitals spread over a five-state region. 

Mr. Campbell is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.  He received a bachelor of business administration degree from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan, and a master of hospital and health administration degree from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio. He is married to Barbara Campbell and they have a married daughter.
