It's all about connections. Centura Health's Stroke Network provides comprehensive education, care and support throughout the state. Across Colorado, our 14 hospitals and clinics connect patients to immediate, life-saving stroke care and our extended Telehealth and Health at Home services provide preventative care and rehabilitation services directly where people live, including reaching patients in Colorado's rural communities. 

Our state-wide EMS partnerships and Flight For Life Colorado® air and ground transport teams help us to provide life-saving care in the most crucial first moments of a stroke. EMS personnel call ahead with a  "stroke alert" when they are in route to our hospitals so we can be prepared with the exact team of experts and resources a patient needs upon arrival.

And if you or someone you love should experience a stroke somewhere far from the help you need, Centura Health has the resources to get you where you need to go and administer life-saving care en route.

The outlook for stroke has never been more hopeful thanks to tremendous advances in stroke treatment through our stroke network and increasingly sophisticated treatment.

We are working across Colorado to help reduce the number of strokes in patients of all ages. We offer seminars, educational materials and risk assessments and we encourage patients to see their physician for a complete physical to check cholesterol, blood pressure and body mass numbers, Don't have a physician? A Collaborative And Comprehensive Network 

Six Centura Health hospitals are Comprehensive or Acute Primary Stroke Centers with the Joint Commission Seal of Approval for exceptional stroke care. And all 14 of our hospitals have emergency room expertise for stabilizing care, neurology consultation and a rapid, smooth transfer process in place if needed to our stroke centers. Together, this creates our collaborative and comprehensive Centura Stroke Network across Colorado.
