The Centura Health Cancer Network believes an organized, consistent, multidisciplinary team approach to the care of cancer patients and their families is necessary to ensure that needs are identified, interventions are planned, treatments are coordinated and care is monitored and evaluated. An important piece of the treatment plan includes a commitment to patient well-being through a variety of support services including nutrition counseling, rehabilitative services, genetic counseling, support groups and counseling and palliative and hospice care.
