Shift Information

All Regional Pool Associates are scheduled to work on an as-needed basis within the Centura Health facilities. Associates will work a minimum of four (4) to six (6) shifts per month, with one (1) of those shifts being a weekend shift, as well as one (1) high-demand shift and/or one (1) holiday per year.  Associates will not be assigned to a specific unit or facility on a permanent basis, will float to all areas of competency, and will float to a minimum of three (3) Centura Health facilities.

High Demand / Holiday Scheduling

It is mandatory all that all Regional Pool associates work one (1) high demand shift and one (1) holiday shift per year as well as one (1) weekend shift per month.

High Demand Shifts with holiday pay:

• New Year's Day 1500 December 31 to 0700 January 2
• Memorial Day  0700 Memorial Day to 0700 the day after Memorial Day
• 4th of July  0700 July 4 to 0700 July 5
• Labor Day  0700 Labor Day to 0700 the day after Labor Day
• Thanksgiving  0700 Thanksgiving to 0700 the day after Thanksgiving
• Christmas Day  1500 December 24 to 0700 December 26

High Demand Shifts without holiday pay:

• Martin Luther King Day 0700 Martin Luther King Day to 0700 the day after Martin Luther King Day
• Super Bowl Sunday  0700 Super Bowl Sunday to 0700 the day after Super Bowl Sunday
• Valentine's Day  0700 February 14 to 0700 February 15
• Easter Sunday   0700 Easter Sunday to 0700 the day after Easter  Sunday
• Mother's Day   0700 Mother's Day to 0700 the day after Mother's Day
• Father's Day   0700 Father's Day to 0700 the day after Father's  Day

Holiday pay:   

• 50% of base rate

• 1900 Sunday to 0700 Monday
