This free telephone counseling service will help you determine whether or not there are programs available to lower the cost of your medications. Most programs are income dependent so you need to be prepared to give financial information to the RxAssist coordinator. The coordinator will then help sort through the maze of paperwork and eligibility requirements for existing prescription discount programs.
It's easy to start saving money on prescriptions! Here's how:
- Gather a list of your prescription medications
- Have your doctor's name, address and phone number
- Have your Social Security number on hand
- Be prepared with basic financial information, for example, any income and savings
