Stopping Heart Attacks Before they Start
Early Detection
As the largest provider of cardiovascular care in the state, Centura Health serves over 8,000 cardiovascular inpatients each year. We work to provide programs that reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease for patients and their families through a combination of disease detection, education and individualized cardiovascular rehabilitation.
Early detection programs at Parker Adventist Hospital, Porter Adventist Hospital and Littleton Adventist Hospital offer a multidisciplinary approach to care, supporting collaboration among the patient, the program provider, the radiologist, the cardiologist and the cardiac nurse practitioner.
With Centura Health at Home and telehealth we can manage patients with chronic heart disease, reducing hospital readmissions to eight percent, well below the national average.
