It's Still Safe to Donate Blood During COVID-19

Blood Donation

With the goal of keeping every person and every community whole and healthy, Centura Health has partnered with Vitalant to bolster blood donations across the state of Colorado during this critical time in the face of COVID-19.

As Colorado reaches a critical point in our blood supply, Centura Health is working to encourage blood donations across the state to increase our supply. While we recognize we are all being asked to stay home due to the COVID-19, we want to share that blood donation is safe and is considered an essential health care necessity. Read safety FAQ's from Vitalant.

If you are not sick, Centura Health hopes you'll consider making this important impact for our community. Please visit Vitalant.org to schedule an appointment at a donation center near you..

Much like we have done in Communities across Colorado for more than ten decades, we recognize the opportunity to serve as pillars of trust and support in our communities. This blood drive initiative is a prime example of our pledge in ensuring that the unique needs of each person are met, despite the challenges we face.

With a legacy spanning more than 126 years, Centura Health is vested in the health and well-being of our communities. We understand that this is a challenging time and are doing all we can to ensure our communities and our caregivers receive the support they so deserve. With a commitment to providing exceptional care, our healing ministry and our core values, Centura Health is a trusted resource in health care and is here for you when you need us most.
