SWKS Pro Am Events

July 27, 2017

(GARDEN CITY, KAN) The Southwest Kansas Pro-Am raises thousands of dollars each year for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St. Catherine Hospital. As the longest running professional golf tournament in Kansas, the Pro-Am offers four days of great tournament play, social events and activities, and is set on two of the finest golf courses in the state.

The Southwest Kansas Pro-Am is filled with many events throughout the week including:

Corporate Appreciation Party & Hall of Fame Inductee Ceremony
Join us at 6 pm on Wednesday, August 2nd at the Clarion for the Corporate Appreciation ‘Pick’ Party.  Each sponsor has the opportunity to pick the professional to play on their team.  This year, long time Pro Am supporter, Kathy Koster, will be inducted in the Pro-Am Hall of Fame. Non-sponsored dinner tickets may be purchased for $40.

Jr. Golf Clinic
On Thursday, August 3rd at 6 pm, the Jr. Golf Clinic will be held for our youngest golfers at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course.  This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the techniques used by professionals.  All skill levels are welcome!

Legacy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Shoot Out
On Thursday, August 3rd, join us for the Shoot Out sponsored by Legacy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. This year’s format is a three-person scramble plus a pro. 11:30 am registration, 12 pm lunch and 1 pm shotgun start.
SWKS Pro-Am
More than 250 amateurs and professionals compete in the tournament each year.  Teams of 5 amateurs and 1 professional play on two alternating golf courses. Amateurs finish on Saturday while the top professionals come back for the final round on Sunday.
