At the Breast Care Center, we're pleased to offer the superior technology of 3D Mammography. This state-of-the-art equipment produces a clearer, better image. Plus, it's quicker and more comfortable than a traditional mammogram, you're in and out almost before you can appreciate our beautiful surroundings.
When you need further testing or have a breast cancer diagnosis, we're are committed to getting you the answers and support you need by providing a treatment plan and treatment options in while working with a breast cancer nurse navigator to help ensure continuity of care, emotional and spiritual support.

Advanced Breast Diagnostics and Treatments
When the need arises for advanced diagnostics our breast center offers:
- Breast MRI
- Stereotactic Biopsy
- Breast Ultrasound
In the case of a breast cancer diagnosis, we provide a treatment plan, treatment options and a breast cancer nurse navigator to help ensure continuity of care. Our treatment program includes a Multidisciplinary Breast Clinic designed to help patients understand the cancer care process and get patients into breast cancer treatment quickly. Traditionally it can take patients up to eight weeks to complete the first round of appointments before they even start treatment, the multidisciplinary clinic saves valuable time.

- Breast Cancer Nurse Navigator
- Genetic counseling
- PET/CT Scans
- Intraoperative Radiation Therapy (IORT): IORT is an innovative form of radiation therapy for breast cancer patients with small, early-stage tumors. It can be given during a lumpectomy operation shortly after the tumor is removed. IORT can also be done as a second procedure if a patient prefers to have a lumpectomy at another hospital and then come to Littleton Adventist Hospital for the radiation portion of the treatment.
