Award Winning Care

Avista Adventist Hospital has developed a reputation for providing exceptional patient care and outcomes. During the past year, we built upon that long-standing reputation by earning several new high profile awards and accreditations from nationally recognized experts.

Behind each of these awards, you’ll discover our commitment to consistently put patients first and provide the highest level of expertise and care.

Higher level of expertise in assessing, diagnosing and caring for patients who may be experiencing a heart attack

The Chest Pain Center Accreditation from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC) validates that Avista Adventist Hospital has demonstrated a higher level of expertise in assessing, diagnosing and caring for patients who may be experiencing a heart attack. The accreditation means Avista Hospital uses protocols developed by leading experts in cardiac care and has adopted the healthcare industry’s most successful practices. This advanced standard of care is aimed at reducing the time from onset of symptoms to diagnosis and treatment, and ensuring patients receive care during the critical window of time when the integrity of the heart muscle can be preserved.
