Chief Executive Officer
Jillyan McKinney joined Avista Adventist Hospital - Centura Health, as Chief Executive Officer in November of 2017. Known as a rising star within the Adventist Health System, McKinney has a reputation for bringing greater physician alignment and leading her teams to a collective goal of improving the health and well-being of their community.
Having the opportunity to build on Avista Adventist Hospital’s rich legacy, which dates back over 100 years to founder Dr. Harvey Kellogg, is an appealing challenge for McKinney who says, “I believe in these early adopted Adventist principals of physical, mental and spiritual healing. Helping an already impressive group of caregivers carry on their mission to build flourishing communities and deliver whole-human care is going to be incredibly rewarding.”
Previously, McKinney served as Vice President of Strategic Business Development, and Vice President of Operations at Florida Hospital. She earned her BS in Business Administration from Oakwood University in Huntsville, Ala., her MBA from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Fla, and completed her Management Residency with Adventist Health System in Winter Park, Fla.
