The incredible caregivers at Littleton Adventist Hospital are proud to serve our flourishing south metro Denver community as your trusted partner in health. Providing whole person care and treatment that is powered by faith, we serve our local and regional communities in providing for essential health care needs including primary care, orthopedic services, and in The BirthPlace. We are also a destination hospital for highly specialized care in emergency and trauma services, neurosciences, and cancer care.
Our mission is to extend the healing ministry of Christ by caring for those who are ill and by nurturing the health of the people in our communities, and we’ve done that for more than 30 years. The doors of the original Littleton Hospital opened in 1989 and served nearly 3,000 patients in a population of about 30,000 Littleton residents. Back then, we had only one tower, an emergency room, a few inpatient services, and obstetrics for the growing families in our community.
As part of fulfilling our mission, Littleton Adventist Hospital has grown to be a world-class organization, serving more than 70,000 patients a year in the booming Littleton, Highlands Ranch, and Centennial areas, and the number keeps growing. Our transformations have included the building of our south tower, expanding pre-operation and post-operation areas, expanding our NICU and Labor & Delivery care, reconfiguring surgical areas to boost efficiencies, renovating interventional radiology and cardiac services, constructing a new radiation oncology center, and adding additional conference rooms to support our community outreach efforts.
We are proud of our transformation, and we are also proud of our recent accomplishments. Our focus on safety, sustainability and our excellent clinical performance earns awards and recognition for programs in cardiac services, stroke, geriatric care, and more!
