Chief Executive Officer
Michael Goebel joined Parker Adventist Hospital as president and Chief Executive Officer in June 2018. Michael works closely with the hospital’s board to ensure that the hospital is serving its mission and vision and providing care according to its values. He also works with the senior executive team to recruit talented physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to Parker Adventist Hospital.
Prior to joining Parker Hospital, Michael served as CEO of Adventist Medical Center, Hinsdale and Adventist Medical Center, La Grange in Illinois. He was instrumental in the integration of the two facilities, driving the concept of a one hospital, two campus philosophy. Under his leadership, Michael guided the planning, design, construction and opening of the $48 million AMITA Health Cancer Institute and Outpatient Center Hinsdale, followed by the construction of the expanded emergency department at La Grange. He guided Hinsdale to numerous recognitions, most notably the 2017 - 100 Top Hospital designation by Truven Analytics.
With more than 25 years of robust healthcare experience, Michael also previously served as Chief Financial Officer for Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska as well as Chief Operating Officer for our Centura Health sister hospital, Littleton Adventist Hospital.
Michael holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska and a Masters of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago, Illinois. He and his wife, Lori, have two adult daughters, Lauren, a graduate of Andrews University and McKenzie, a student at Denver University.
Chief Financial Officer
Jonathan Fisher joined Parker Adventist Hospital as Chief Financial Officer in February 2012. Mr. Fisher provides leadership and oversight to the daily financial operations of the hospital.
Prior to his appointment as CFO, Mr. Fisher served as senior finance officer for Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Kansas City where he was responsible for the overall financial operations, including payroll, accounts payable, reimbursement, decision support, budgeting, physician enterprise accounting and general accounting.
Prior to Shawnee Mission, Mr. Fisher was the director of finance for Florida Hospital in Orlando. He holds an MBA from Webster University and a bachelor's in business administration with an emphasis in accounting and finance from Union College.
Chief Operating Officer
Leanne Hartford is Chief Operations Officer for Parker Adventist Hospital. She has oversite of the hospital’s strategic growth as well as day-to-day operations. Leanne has been in the Adventist Health System for 20 years and has been an exemplary leader since she started at Parker Hospital in 2002.
Beginning as director of physician services, she was instrumental in successfully opening the hospital in 2004. Over the years, she has fostered growth and innovation by developing and growing numerous service lines. She has played a pivotal role in the recruitment of countless physicians of various specialties who lead the charge in providing compassionate and personalized care to our community. Leanne also led the ambulatory development of the South Denver Group’s first Neighborhood Health Center at Southlands. Leanne’s passion for serving our community by meeting their health care needs continues to drive her each and every day.
Prior to joining Parker Adventist Hospital, Leanne was with Central Texas Medical Center in San Marcos, Texas where she held various roles during her seven years of service. Her background includes extensive training in managed care contracting, negotiating, management, physician relations, and credentialing. Leanne was a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Southwest Texas University with a Bachelor’s degree in marketing.
Chief Nursing Officer and VP of Patient Care Services
Maribeth Trujillo, MS, RN, NE-BC, was named Chief Nursing Officer and VP of Patient Care Services at Parker Adventist Hospital in February 2017. She is responsible and accountable for leading hospital clinical operations, setting standards for nursing care and practice, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and holds an active leadership role in achieving organizational goals.
Prior to Parker Hospital, Maribeth was an instrumental and valued member of the Littleton Adventist Hospital family after transferring from Porter Adventist Hospital in 1992. She served in progressive nursing leadership roles and greatly contributed to the nursing care at Littleton Hospital in countless ways for nearly 25 years.
Maribeth is especially proud to have led the Parker team through a successful Magnet site visit in August 2017. Parker's prestigious designation as a Magnet hospital is something the entire team is proud of and celebrates.
Representative of our mission and values, Maribeth volunteered for 12 years with Project C.U.R.E. and has led five community health teams in Peru.

Devin Bateman, MD
Chief Medical Officer
From 1999 through 2003, as a Major in the United States Air Force Dr. Bateman served as an Emergency Physician, Medical Disaster Chief and Team Chief for the Critical Care Mobility Team.
Dr. Bateman is a member of the American Medical Association, the Colorado Medical Society and the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Bateman holds certifications from the American Board of Emergency Medicine, the Colorado Board of Medicine and the DEA.
Dr. Bateman holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego, in biochemistry and cell biology and a medical degree from Loyola University Chicago. He completed his residency at the University of Virginia before serving as the University's Chief Resident in Emergency Medicine.
