Avista Doctor To Speak On Spinal Deformities

(LOUISVILLE) Avista Adventist Hospital is hosting a free seminar on spinal deformities Monday, September 23, from 12 to 1 pm. Matthew Gerlach, MD, an orthopedic spine surgeon, will be the featured speaker and will discuss Scoliosis, spinal deformities and treatment options.

Dr. Gerlach is board certified in orthopedic surgery and has advanced training in orthopedic and neurosurgical spine surgery techniques, including the most advanced minimally invasive procedures. He holds a medical degree from the University of Minnesota and did his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He then completed a fellowship in spine surgery at Rocky Mountain Spine Clinic, Lone Tree, Colo.
