Centura Health and its 21,000 people watched in disbelief Thursday as wildfires devasted several Colorado communities. Since then, our caregivers have heard and felt the outpouring of love and concern from those who are eager to help with the reopening of Avista Adventist Hospital and the communities impacted by the fire, as well as supporting health care workers who experienced loss.
To help in this effort, Centura is opening three donation centers so its associates and community members can donate items to help our caregivers rebuild their lives.
- A list of needed items is listed here. To ensure the donations can be used immediately, all donated items should be new, not used.
- If you prefer to make a cash donation, click here. Donations may be tax deductible. Please speak with your tax advisor for details.
“Sadly, the Marshall Wildfire impacted associates from across our ministry, including Avista Adventist Hospital, Longmont United Hospital, St. Anthony North Hospital and more,” said Sebastien Girard, Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the 100 caregivers who lived in the impacted communities, especially for the 20 who have experienced the total loss of their homes.”
The donation locations include the following:
- CHPG Church Ranch Primary Care – 7233 Church Ranch Blvd., Westminster, CO 80021
- Emergency & Urgent Care Indian Peaks – 4943 State Hwy 52, #100, Frederick, CO 80514
- Centura Health Headquarters – 9100 E. Mineral Cir., Centennial, CO 80112
The donation centers will accept donations each weekday, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 8 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. for the next two weeks through Friday, Jan. 14.
Avista Adventist Hospital and its clinics continue to be temporarily closed while hospital leadership and a team of experts work to assess the damage. This week, we will begin the extensive process of cleaning, replacing and repairing so we can reopen and begin serving our community, as we have done since 1895.
