Nursing Home Residents Get in Holiday Spirit
Residents and staff will gather together to listen to holiday carols performed by several members from the local, volunteer-based choir. Each year on Christmas Eve, Kantorei Choir selects several hospitals and retirement communities to spread holiday cheer to.
The residents are really looking forward to Kantoreis performance. Holiday carols are so meaningful to them and truly touches their hearts," said Beth Breen, Executive Director of Porter Place and The Gardens at St. Elizabeth.
On Friday, December 24, the choir will perform at The Gardens at St. Elizabeth(2835 West 32nd Ave., Denver) at10:30 a.m. and at Porter Place Retirement Community (1001 East Yale Ave., Denver)at 11:30 a.m.
