SMC to Host Career Fair

(PUEBLO, COLO.) St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center is looking for talented and experienced registered nurses, certified nurse assistants and operating room technicians to join its award-winning team. Clinical and nursing professionals with at least one year of acute care experience are invited to attend a career fair and hiring event on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Dorcy Cancer Center, 2004 Lake Ave.

RNs, CNAs and OR techs interested in exploring career opportunities will be able to meet face-to-face with recruiters and nursing leaders from several areas, including critical care, the emergency department, orthopedics, surgical services, telemetry and womens and childrens services. Onsite interviews will be conducted and contingent job offers including a number of sign-on incentives for experienced RNs will be extended on-the-spot (some restrictions apply).

Demand for experienced acute care nursing professionals is at an all-time high across the nation, said Constance Schmidt, DNP, chief nursing officer, St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center. By bringing all of our resources together in one easy and convenient location, we can share first-hand with candidates what makes St. Mary-Corwin special and why they should consider advancing their career with our award-winning health care network.
