St. Anthony Central Hospital Announces the Opening of Western Vascular & Thoracic Surgery

Until St. Anthony Central moves to its new location in June, the practice will be located at 4l01 West Conejos Place, Suite 200 which is located on the east side of the hospital through the Cardiac Care Center entrance.This fall, the practice will move to one of the new medical office plazas now under construction at the St. Anthony Medical Campus in Lakewood.

The physicians are Luke Erdoes, MD, FACS and Franco Rea, MD, FACS.Dr. Erdoes is a graduate of Stanford University and Tufts University School of Medicine.He served his internship and residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and vascular fellowship at Georgia Baptist Medical Center and the University of Arizona School of Medicine.He is board-certified in surgery, vascular surgery and surgical critical care.

Dr. Rea is a graduate of Gannon University and the Ohio State University College of Medicine.He served his internship and residency at OhioState University and his fellowship in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at the University of Louisville.He is board-certified in surgery, thoracic and cardiac surgery and surgical critical care.

The practice expertise encompasses open and endovascular surgery, as well as standard and minimally invasive chest surgery, VATS.
