St. Anthony Central Hospital Recommends Discontinuation of Obstetrical and Newborn Services

It was a difficult decision to recommend discontinuing Obstetrical and Newborn services for our community of patients," said Ray Mencini, MD, Interim CEO of St. Anthony Central Hospital. Unfortunately, we are faced with the economic reality that our program now delivers significantly fewer babies each month than other hospitals in the area. St. Anthony Central will continue to provide gynecological surgery for our patients."

The Centura Health Board of Trustees will meet in early February and a final decision will be announced at that time.In the meantime, we will continue to provide high quality, compassionate care to the patients who have entrusted us with their care
