St. Anthony Hospital Completes Move of 106 Patients to New Hospital

I am delighted to report that St. Anthony Hospital has successfully relocated all patients from the Denver facility to our new hospital in Lakewood. As of 3:56 p.m., 106 patients were safely transported to private rooms in our new state-of-the-art hospital and reunited with loved ones. The entire process took less than 9 hours and was completed ahead of schedule with the utmost professionalism from the hundreds of caregivers, volunteers and partners working today. I am so proud of our associates, volunteers and physicians for their ongoing dedication and compassion and for the phenomenal show of teamwork necessary to accomplish todays move. Moving to the new hospital is certainly a bittersweet departure due to many fond memories of our former facility. In moving, we carry forward 119 years of tradition and compassion to our new home. Today, we start writing the next chapter of St. Anthony Hospital, and we look forward to the next century of hope, healing and excellence that our patients deserve."
