About Amanda Trolinger, PA-C
Mandy Trolinger, MS, RD, PA-C, joined Colorado Kidney Care in 2011 where she sees patients with chronic kidney disease and also provides medical nutrition therapy counseling.
She received her Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences from Texas A&M University and her Masters of Science from Oklahoma State University where she also worked in research. After working as a Registered Dietitian in nephrology for 6 years, she then completed her Physician Assistant degree from Red Rocks Community College in Colorado.
Mandy has volunteered with various organizations over the years including the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) and Renal Support Network (RSN). In the past, she served on the NKF Council of Renal Nutrition and currently serves on the NKF executive committee for the Council of Advanced Practitioners. She has authored several articles and is a national speaker and has presented at several meetings including the NKF Clinical Meetings, Renal Physicians Association's Advanced Practitioner Conference and Annual Dialysis Conference. She also teaches the nephrology section for the Red Rocks Physician Assistant program.
Her goal is to provide compassionate care while focusing on patient-empowered decision making through education and counseling.
In her spare time, Mandy enjoys being outdoors with her husband and son.
