About Christen Janney, NP

Christen Janney, NP-C, believes it is important to listen to each patient’s individual story to understand context and provide insight when addressing health concerns and formulating treatment plans. She is passionate about preventive care and is experienced in treating acute conditions such as sinus and ear infections, as well as chronic conditions such as diabetes and hyperlipidemia.

Christen attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona and Regis University in Denver, Colorado, earning a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, respectively. She also earned a Master of Science degree from Regis University to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Born and raised in Durango, Colorado, Christen enjoys many outdoor activities including trail running, skiing, and rafting. She also enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and rescue dog.
