About Joseph Lutt, MD

Dr. Lutt is a native of Nebraska and received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his internal medicine residency and his rheumatology fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. Dr. Lutt is board certified in both internal medicine and rheumatology and sees patients in our Boulder and Longmont offices. He joined CCAO in 2009 and has been our Clinical Director since 2015.
He has particular interest in clinical research and leads CCAO's clinical research program. His clinical interests include the management of osteoporosis, inflammatory arthritis, and autoimmune diseases. He enjoys working closely with other specialists in managing complicated diseases of the immune system affecting the eyes and skin.
