About Laura Kooienga, MD

Dr. Laura Kooienga joined Colorado Kidney Care in 2008. See currently sees patients at the Lowry office as well as several Denver metro hospitals and dialysis units. Dr. Kooienga received her MD from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit Michigan. She obtained her degree with High Distinction. She then came to Colorado where she did her residency and fellowship at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Kooienga is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. She is a member of The American Society of Nephrology, American College of Physicians and Faculty of 1000 Medicine.
