About Leighton Tewes, MD

Leighton Tewes, MD, provides personal, comprehensive and continuing care for individuals of all ages in the context of the family and the community. He has served as the designated primary care physician for the Colorado Springs Sky Sox minor league baseball team and was voted one of Colorado Springs' top family physicians in Colorado Springs Style magazine in 2012.

Dr. Tewes earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Franklin Square Medical Center. He is board-certified in family medicine.

When he isn't seeing patients, he enjoys outdoor activities, attending church, spending time with his wife and two children.
