About Lisa Ramey, DO

Lisa R. Ramey, DO has been extensively involved in medical education since the completion of her pediatrics residency. She was a clinical preceptor for Florida Hospital East Orlando Family Practice Residency where she received the Outstanding Educator of the Year award twice. Dr. Ramey is currently an Associate Professor for both the Rocky Vista University School of Osteopathic Medicine and the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Ramey's clinical pediatric experience has included hospital based group practice and private solo practice while living in Florida. She has been serving as a pediatrician with Peak Vista Community Health Centers since moving to Colorado in 2010. Her administrative experiences have included multiple committee chair positions, Pediatric Section Chair, Assistant Chief of Staff and Chief of Staff. Dr. Ramey also served as a Medical Director while in private practice. Dr. Ramey graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995. She then completed her pediatrics residency at Lutheran General Children's Hospital in Illinois in 1999. She is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and has been elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
