About Lisa Zuraff-Perryman, MD

Dr. Perryman is a fellowship-trained and board certified colon & rectal surgeon. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FASC), and the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons (FASCRS).

She completed an intensive fellowship in colon & rectal surgery at the renowned Ochsner Medical Center, and performed a seven year general surgery residency at the University of Minnesota. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree, as well as a Master of Science degree in Pathology from the Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Illinois.

As a specialist in evaluating lower intestinal disorders, Dr. Perryman treats benign and malignant conditions, performs routine screening examinations, and helps patients who suffer from problems of the colon, rectum, and anus. This includes hemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas, anal itching, rectal prolapse, colon cancer, condyloma, diarrhea, and constipation.
