About Matthew Mahlberg, MD

Matthew J. Mahlberg, MD, is passionate about providing exceptional care in a personalized way for each patient. This means providing cutting-edge, evidence-based medical options, and at the same time, getting to know patients and what motivates them. His practice centers around the treatment of skin cancer, reconstructive surgery and laser surgery.

Dr. Mahlberg earned his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his residency at New York University, where he served as Chief Resident. Thereafter, he completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Procedural Dermatology at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is the Medical Director of Colorado Center for Dermatology & Skin Surgery and is past-President of the Colorado Dermatologic Society. Dr. Mahlberg is board certified in dermatology.

When he isn’t seeing patients, Dr. Mahlberg enjoys traveling, climbing fourteeners, skiing and coaching youth basketball and soccer.
