About Megan Stimpson, PA-C

Megan diagnoses and treats a variety of dermatology concerns focusing on skin cancer screenings, skin care counseling, and pediatric dermatology. She completed her BS in environmental health at the University of Georgia, graduating cum laude, and her master in physician assistant studies at the Medical University of South Carolina. Megan's passion for health and stewardship encompasses both the environment and the community. While at the University of Georgia, she contributed to a research group that monitored and studied air quality and its implications in Cusco, Peru. During her graduate studies, Megan collaborated in research assessing trends in pediatric obesity in Charleston, South Carolina. She also served on a volunteer team performing medical mission work in Haiti. Megan has earned nationally recognized diplomate status through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She also routinely precepts physician assistant students on clinical rotation, and mentors undergraduate students interested in health professions.
