About Patrick Thompson, DPM

From an early age, Dr. Thompson knew he wanted to become a physician. He was born and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan and attended Central Michigan University where he received his undergraduate degree in Health Fitness. From there he attended Western Michigan University, where he obtained a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology. He went on to complete medical school at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, and completed his surgical residency training at Beaumont Hospital in Wayne, Michigan.During his residency, he focused on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma, and sports medicine. It was during this time he learned to treat patients with great care and compassion, and the importance of educating them on their conditions. These are lessons he has carried with him, and continues to practice each day. Dr. Thompson is married, with two children. When he is not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, hiking, camping, mountain biking, and snowboarding.
