About Peter Le, MD

Dr. Peter Le attended Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts for his undergraduate studies and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in biochemistry. During his undergraduate education, he also studied at Pembroke College at Oxford University for one year. He received his medical degree from the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine. At graduation, Dr. Le was the recipient of the James H. Foster award for "excellence in medical education and commitment to promoting critical thinking." He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital of Yale University. While there, Dr. Le was nominated by his peers for the Frederick L Sachs, MD award "for possessing those attributes of the heart and mind that best exemplify the dedication to learning and empathy towards patients." Dr. Le completed his gastroentology and hepatology fellowship at Yale University. Dr. Le's interests are in inflammatory bowel diseases, liver disease, and general gastroenterology. Beyond his professional activities, Dr. Le enjoys golf, snowboarding, playing guitar, spending time with his family and dog, and cheering for the Denver Broncos.
