About Shannon Christopher, NP

Shannon Christopher, FNP-C joined Family Practice, P.C. as a Nurse Practitioner in May 2016. She enjoys the many realms of family practice but has a passion for women's health, preventative medicine, health promotion, and adolescent health. She enjoys working holistically with patients to inspire, nurture, and support their health and well-being.
Shannon started her medical journey as a Registered Nurse after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Beth-El College of Nursing at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. She has been working as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2009 after graduating with a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX.
Since then, she has gained experience in the areas of women's health and family practice while working at clinics in California and Colorado. She is an American Nurses Credentialing Center board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Shannon is married and has two children. She is a native of Colorado and enjoys being in the mountains, hiking, camping, cooking, and spending time with family.
