About Shelly Posey, CNM

Shelly graduated from Regis University with her BSN in 1995. She was working as a labor and delivery nurse when she had her first experience with a midwife. She thought it was amazing to be with women during one of the most important times in t heir lives from the beginning of pregnancy, to birth, to the postpartum time and beyond. She became a certified nurse midwife in 2007 after completing her Masters of Science degree in nurse-midwifery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Shelly is passionate about supporting women through birth and loves being a midwife and caring for women throughout all stages of their life. In her spare time, Shelly enjoys hiking and biking and spending time with her four kids.
