About Steven Kim, MD

Dr. Kim is a board-certified general surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After completing his training in general surgery in 2001, Dr. Kim served four years of active duty in the United States Air Force as a general surgeon. He spent one year at Osan Air Force Base, Korea and the remaining three years at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. Dr. Kim has been in private practice since July 2005 and has been the Director of Trauma Services at Littleton Hospital since January 2006. He was accepted as a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery in 2003 and was inducted as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 2004. He has a broad range of surgical interests and expertise including trauma and critical care to minimally invasive, laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with his three beautiful daughters Ashley, Lauren, and Elisabeth and their family dog, Leo.
