Biography

Kiyoshi Yamazaki, MD, is a double board-certified family and sports medicine physician who sees athletes from weekend warriors to professionals in the Castle Rock, Colo., area. Dr. Yamazaki has served as a sideline physician for multiple professional, collegiate, high school and Olympic-level athletes. No matter the athletic level, he's passionate about helping patients return to their active lifestyles. Dr. Yamazaki received his medical degree from the American University of Integrative Sciences School of Medicine, formerly known as the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine, and completed his residency at Southwest Georgia Family Medicine Program and a fellowship at Southwest Georgia Sports Medicine Program in Albany, Ga. In his free time, Dr. Yamazaki is passionate about maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle through sports, outdoor activities, cooking and spending time with his family and dogs.

Dr. Yamazaki aims to help patients be educated in their care. He wants to help maximize function and minimize disability and time away from sports, work, school and activities.
