About William Newman, MD

William Newman, MD, FACAAI is an ardent advocate for the patient, serving as expert allergy/immunology consultant and advisor. Dr. Newman highly values the direct face-to-face physician/patient relationship in an era when electronic devices can create a communication gulf between doctor and patient. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from Yale University, and his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University. He completed his residency in internal Medicine at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora (now the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus) and his allergy/immunology fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. After years spent in the Army, and then 11 years in solo practice in Vermont, Dr. Newman moved with his family back to Denver in 2016 where he joined Denver Allergy & Asthma and Boulder Valley Asthma & Allergy. An outdoor enthusiast in all seasons, when not at work he loves the wilderness and the mountains, camping, hiking, canoeing, and fishing whenever he can find the time. He is married and has a son at CU in Boulder.
