Supporting our Westminster community

Our 2021 philanthropic priorities are focused on the continued support of our caregivers during COVID-19 and its ever-changing landscape; educational scholarships to elevate our associates; Flight For Life; and other St. Anthony North Hospital services as a continued support to the growth and development of the hospital.

Caregiver resiliency

Caregiver resiliency

St. Anthony North Hospital needs the community’s support now more than ever before. After working on the frontlines of COVID-19 since March 2020, caregiver resiliency is a prevalent concern.

As a way to support our caregivers, The St. Anthony North Health Foundation has set up the Caregiver Resiliency program to build a system of support for our caregivers. As the pandemic continues in 2021, we still need your help.

A gift to the St. Anthony North Hospital Caregiver Resiliency program takes on many forms. Below is a snapshot of the work that we do to bring some joy and balance to the lives of our hardworking caregivers:

We have partnered with local restaurants to prepare pre-made meals for caregivers to enjoy with their family without the stress of shopping for groceries and doing dishes - $15/each.

Sponsor breakfast, lunch or dinner for our day or night shifts. All meals are served from a local, independently-owned restaurant. $1,500 feeds the Emergency Department, ICU and Respiratory units.

Help pay for resiliency training; such as virtual yoga, mindfulness exercises, etc.

Gift all St. Anthony North Hospital associates with one free beverage from the hospital coffee shop. Sponsorships begin at $2,500.

Healthy bottled beverages (like Gatorade), energy bars and healthy snacks, specialty lotions for hands and face, self-care items, etc., gift cards for haircuts, oil changes, restaurant takeout.

St. Anthony North Hospital is on a mission to change the future of health care and it begins with education. As healthcare increases in complexity, as more patients present with multiple chronic diseases, and the cost of education remains out of reach for so many, your generosity is needed now more than ever. That’s why we launched the St. Anthony North Hospital Scholarship Program.

This program is committed to providing access to affordable education for individuals from all socio-economic backgrounds. With award amounts up to $20,000, a scholarship can be the difference between career advancement and career stagnation. We also know that access to continued education improves caregivers’ critical thinking skills and patient outcomes. Our scholarships offer opportunities from a CNA to a Ph.D and everything in between. To name a scholarship, a $10,000 gift is required; to endow a named scholarship, the minimum gift is $100,000.
