Founded upon the Adventist tradition of whole-person care, Parker Adventist Hospital opened in early 2004. Our focus is on ensuring a memorable patient experience with a true commitment to quality and safety.

Infused with vision

After 60 railroad workers were injured in a train derailment near Leadville in the late 1880s, B.P. Anderson, MD, and four sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration began a door-to-door fundraising campaign to build a hospital in Colorado Springs. Since its inception, Penrose-St. Francis Health Services has been infused with vision and dedicated to clinical excellence, wholeperson care and serving the unique needs of its communities.

Bringing science and spirit together

Known for its compassion, Porter Adventist Hospital was founded in 1930 on a promise that it would nourish the physical, mental and spiritual health of the community. Guided by a calling to bring science and spirit together, Porter also is widely recognized for providing excellent care in many complex specialty areas, including heart, cancer, transplant, joint replacement, spine, diabetes and hand and eye care.

Over 100 years of dedicated service

St. Anthony Central Hospital is one of Denver's oldest and most progressive hospitals. The hospital was opened more than 100 years ago as a result of the determination of the Sisters of St. Francis who pioneered the development of health care institutions in the western United States. Today, that pioneering spirit is alive at St. Anthony Central Hospital. The hospital is the only non-profit Level I trauma center in Colorado.

A neighbor, a friend, a trusted part of the community

St. Anthony North Hospital has served the people of Westminster, Adams County and the surrounding communities since 1971. St. Anthony North operates one of the busiest emergency rooms in the Denver metro area, seeing more than 42,000 emergency patients each year. St. Anthony North is the home base for the Flight For Life Colorado helicopter. Flight For Life, established in 1972 by St. Anthony Hospitals, is the nation's first hospital-based air emergency medical transport program.

Over 25 years of service to mountain communities

Summit Medical Center has provided health care services to Summit County residents for over 25 years. It was established in 1978 to serve the high country communities located in Summit County and the surrounding area as a 24-hour emergency facility. Today, the new St. Anthony Summit Medical Center is a 25-bed, full-service hospital with a Level III trauma designation.

Legacy of compassionate care

A two-story boarding house in Pueblo was converted into St. Mary's Hospital by the Sisters of Charity in 1882. The hospital's excellent reputation led the Colorado Fuel & Iron Company to transfer ownership of its own Corwin Hospital to the sisters in the late1940s. St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center was formed shortly thereafter. Today, the hospital continues its legacy of compassionate, outstanding care in its new, state-of-the-art expansion.

Cornerstone for health care services

Nestled in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in Cañon City, St. Thomas More Hospital is the area's cornerstone for health care services. Its rich history of providing comfort and healing began in 1938 when a half-dozen Benedictine nuns opened its doors. Today, the hospital plays a pivotal role in this rural community by providing 24-hour emergency and acute care to Fremont County residents, neighboring communities and the many visitors who flock to the area.

The Centura Health Regional Pool is a system wide float pool. Nurses who are part of the pool have flexible schedules and competitive wages, work in multiple locations in the system and benefit from a great work environment.

The best part of your worst day

Flight For Life Colorado was the first hospital-based medical helicopter program in the U.S. From its humble beginnings, it has grown to be a regional program responding to nine states. It provides critical care transport with four helicopters, three ambulances and two airplanes, serving patients across several states with the industry's most current technology and experienced, knowledgeable staff.
