Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNM) specialize in primary care for women and offer personalized care for pregnancy, labor and delivery and postpartum concerns. CNMs are experts in their field with extensive training in both nursing and midwifery.

The emergency department of Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital provides services for emergent care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The department is staffed with a registered nurse and on call medical providers caring for a wide range of injuries and illnesses in adults and children.

Dietitian consults are available by appointment and with a physician referral. The registered, licensed dietitian is available for appointments on Wednesday afternoons or by appointment. Diet consults are available for most nutrition-related diseases/disorders such as diabetes, heart disease, weight loss, eating disorders, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, hypercholesterolemia, renal disease, etc.
The physical therapy department at Bob Wilson Memorial Grant County Hospital provides physical therapy services to consumers who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their ability to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. The physical therapy department is staffed by physical therapy providers licensed by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.
Physical therapy primarily services patients who have undergone orthopedic surgeries, suffered strains/sprains, and who have degenerative/overuse injuries. Services are provided to injured athletes, injured workers, geriatric clients, and the general population. The department also provides services to consumers with neurologic conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and CVA (stroke). Physical therapy is provided to patients receiving cancer treatment to help decrease pain and improve functional abilities.

The respiratory care department at Bob Wilson Memorial Grant County Hospital provides a comprehensive program of services to consumers with known or suspected pulmonary disease or dysfunction. All services of the respiratory care department are provided by Respiratory Care Practitioners/Therapists licensed by the state of Kansas.
General surgeons perform procedures for a variety of needs including gallbladder, hernias, or conditions of the on the abdomen and skin. Our patients receive a highly specialized assessment and coordinated follow-up of their care. The office is located inside Ulysses Family Physicians and Surgical Clinic.
