Is an emergency and urgent care center different from an urgent care center?
Yes. Emergency and Urgent Care Centers are staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by Centura Health-affiliated Board Certified emergency physicians, emergency-trained nurses, radiologic technologists and other clinical specialists and they provide consumers with emergency and urgent care services in the same facility. A typical urgent care is not equipped to treat emergency conditions and would have to send more acute conditions to a hospital emergency room.
Physician practices located within the neighborhood health center can be contacted directly using information below. Please note, these practices are separate from the emergency and urgent care facility and only provide care to patients by appointment.
