
SARCon 2025
Join first responders from across the state for our annual Search and Rescue Conference's (SARCon) 16th year in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado. This will be the 9th year of Flight for Life's (FFL) partnership with the Colorado Search and Rescue Association (CSAR) in sponsoring the weekend event. This conference will include medical, backcountry SAR, and technical classroom / field education sessions for participants to choose from. CEUs will be available. This year's keynote speaker is Erika German of Vail Mountain Rescue Group who will take us through how the 19-year cold case of a missing hiker was finally resolved by VMRG in 2024.

Flight for Life operates out of Denver, Frisco, Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Durango, and Fort Morgan to transport patients to the most appropriate hospital, operating within the Colorado trauma system rules for trauma patients. Unique capabilities in addition to general transport capabilities include:
- Whole blood to transfuse for patients with hemorrhage.
- Cardiac life-sustaining technology including Partial Resuscitative Endovascular Balloon Occlusion of the Aorta (pREBOA), intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella ventricular assist devices and ECMO heart and lung assist.
- High risk obstetrical care
- Pediatric critical care
- Mountain rescue with high-altitude landing and back country capabilities
Flight for Life provides critical care transport with six helicopters, three ambulances and three airplanes operating from the Denver metro area, Summit County, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Durango, Fort Morgan.
Equipped with the industry's leading technology and an experienced team, Flight for Life transports patients across several states in the Rocky Mountain Region. We also assist search and rescue agencies with specialized services, including aerial search support and our Lift Ticket, Avalanche Deployment, and Rescue Deployment Programs.
