About Anna-Maria De Costa, MD

Anna-Maria De Costa, MD, PhD, is a compassionate provider with an ability to connect with patients while still providing thorough and honest information, so that each patient may be able to make the best-informed treatment decisions. Dr. De Costa cares for patients with various types of cancers, and she has a special interest in treating patients who have breast and gynecologic malignancies.

Dr. De Costa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a philosophy minor from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She went on to complete medical school and earn a PhD at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. De Costa also completed a radiation oncology residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

Dr. De Costa enjoys drawing, painting, and Jiu Jitsu. She also likes to camp and hike with her husband, sons, and dog. The family also enjoys watching movies and playing video games, though the dog is not very good at holding a video game controller!
