About Barbara Wright, PA-C

Barbara Wright, PA, was born and raised in Miami, FL. She attended college in Charleston, SC where she played rugby for the College of Charleston. She went on to Barry University in Miami, FL to complete he PA training and subsequently traveled to Colorado to begin practicing. Previous to PA school, Barbara worked with mentally and physically disabled children. Initially, her medical training focused on providing care for those in rural and low income areas, but she always knew that she wanted to ultimately work in orthopedics and with athletes. Today, Barbara works primarily with Dr. Ellman and Dr. Schneider on the sports med and total joint team. In her spare time she enjoys running, hiking, camping, playing with her dog and going to sporting events.
