Carolyn Moore, MD
Carolyn Shay Moore, MD, FAAFP, is a board-certified family medicine physician offering the full spectrum of care for all ages, from toddlers to seniors. When treating her patients, Dr. Moore’s care philosophy as a primary care provider is to serve as a partner, collaborator and coach to help patients reach their own health goals through informed decision making backed by evidence-based medicine. She believes in helping patients navigate the complex health care system to reach the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Moore received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She received her medical degree at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX and went on to complete a family medicine residency at Saint Louis University/Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, IL. Prior to working at Centura Health Physician Group, Dr. Moore was Chief of Medical Staff at U.S. Air Force, Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO.
When she's not seeing patients, Dr. Moore enjoy a nice glass of wine on her family’s back deck, exercising outdoors, integrating faith and family, supporting her working spouse, and pretending not to laugh when she finds her 2-year-old in the sink.
