About David Stark, MD

Dr. David Stark is a Chicago area native who has happily called Colorado Springs home since he cofounded Academy Women's Healthcare in 1993. He is dedicated to providing the highest quality of compassionate care for women in all stages of life.

A physician who takes the time to listen, Dr. Stark is pleased to partner with his patients to resolve issues and achieve their goals of health and wellness. Dr. Stark is a leading provider of gynecologic and obstetric services including laparoscopic hysterectomies as well as robotic surgical options.

Married since 1989 to his beautiful wife April, Dr. Stark is the proud father of four young adult sons. The Starks are active members of Grace Bible Church and they enjoy travelling and playing games.

Dr. Stark graduated from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine in 1987. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency in 1991 at the University of Oklahoma. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
