About Jamie Vader, PA-C

I have been working in Family Medicine for the last 8 years and love having the opportunity to get to know several members of a family and provide acute, chronic, and preventive care across the lifespan. I am passionate about preventive health care, patient education, and reaching patients where they are at (emotionally and physically). I believe in treating every patient with dignity, respect, and compassion. I strive to provide equality in their medical care, to remove as many barriers as possible, and focus on working together to reach their best health potential. For 2013-2016, I served on an advisory board for the Colorado Department of Health to improve cardiovascular health and breast / cervical cancer screening, prevention and access to treatment for Colorado's un- and under- insured women. In 2015-2016, I worked as part of a grant that brought integrated healthcare to high-risk patients at their homes. I have always been a teacher in my heart. I traveled to Thailand to teach English to medical personnel in Bangkok. I have precepted students for the last 6 years. My love of education spills into my exam rooms and I find that taking the time to explain things improves health literacy.
