About Julie McKenzie, DO

Dr. Julie McKenzie is board-certified in family medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO in molecular, developmental, cellular biology. She earned her medical degree in Parker, CO at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her family medicine residency in Westminster, CO at St. Anthony North Family Medicine Residency.

When it comes to treating her patients, Dr. McKenzie believes wellness is not just the absence of disease or pain but a much more holistic goal including mind, body and spirit. She aims to build a partnership with her patients and work towards this goal as a team using integrative and holistic evidence based medicine.

When she’s not treating patients, Dr. McKenzie enjoys back-country snowboarding, mountain biking, yoga, trail running with dog Layla, brewing beer, and spending as much time possible outdoors with her daughter, Emery and husband, Sean.
