About Laurence Tormohlen, MD

Laurence (Rick) Tormohlen, MD, enjoys helping patients pursue their goals in staying healthy. He especially delights in working with children and their parents. Experienced in sports medicine, he can help weekend warriors, competitive athletes or anyone in between. He seeks to know and treat the whole person – physical, emotional, social and spiritual.

Dr. Tormohlen earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and completed his residency in family medicine at Swedish Medical Center. He is board-certified in family medicine.

He lives in Aurora with his wife of over 25 years who homeschools their children. He enjoys woodworking, mountain biking, disc golf, music, reading and spending time with his family. Dr. Tormohlen is also is an active member of Sovereign Grace Church in Aurora.
